Description
Compact rounded shrub, 1.5 m x 8 -10 cm diam., bark pale greyish buff, cut wood with slight mauve hue; leaves discolorous, dark bottle-green glossy above, much paler mid-green below; calyces green tinged purplish red, petals purple (pale lilac-pink where they overlap), style reddish purple. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
