    On steep banks and cliffs.

  • Description

    Short basal offshoots forming dense clumps. Leaves and spikes 2-3 m long; leaves arching, spikes nearly erect. Bracts pale green, with pale scurf. Calyx lobes green. Corolla, stamens, and style bright yellow. Upper half of spike with flowers; lower half bracteate. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
