Description

Tree. Palm up to 4 m tall, 5 cm in diameter, cespitose. Spines on trunk, black, flat with small lump at base. Crown shaft absent. Leaves erect arching down. 10-12 leaves per side. Leaf sheath open, petiole section emarginated, petiole 60 cm long, rachis 1.2 m l. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
