Peru, Dept. Apurimac, Prov. Chincheros, along Rio Pampa on
Ayacucho-Andahuaylas road (RN3), ca. 3-4 km from Puente Pampa
on Apurimac side; dry forest of Rio Pampa valley with Vachellia
macracantha, Eriotheca, Schinus, Aspidosperma; disturbed road
banks and field edges.
13°29'43" S, 73°49'53" W Alt: 2028m.
Sprawling herb on bank; flowers white, petals reflexed; buds purple,
in shade buds are white; fruit yellow-orange; very common in valley
bottom.
