Frond flat, channeled, linear, decompound-dichotomous, fastidiate, dark
brownish red, sometimes olive, 6-8 cm. in length; upper segments
wedge-shaped, bifid; secondary segments developed from both surfaces
of frond,, wedge-shaped, simple, or forked.
Attached to rocks in clumps. Growing between tides.
Tracyton, Kitsap county, Washington.
