Description
Tree ca. 7m; abundant white exudate. Leaf adaxial surface hairy but glaucous, much lighter than adaxial surface; petiole and rachis red; wing green and tapered at base, not as wide as in many other individuals of this species elsewhere. Inflorescence immature with conspicuous bracts. Found in Pinus masoniana forest, but other individuals were in adjacent transition area to broadleaf forest. Also present: Quercus, Rodgersia, Prunus, Mahonia, Pinus merusii, Tuxustromia, Acer.
