DESCRIPTION: Thallus 2-3 mm. in diameter, pale yellow in colour, with
slightly flattened branches 1-3 mm. long radiating from a common center.

On rocks and worm tubes subtidally to a depth of 5 fathoms. Hein
Bank, in Juan de Fuca Strait, near the entrance to Haro Strait,
Washington, U.S.A. (Lat. 48°21'N. Long. 123°2'W.).
DESCRIPTION: Thallus up to 10 cm. high, brownish red to rose red
in colour. The erect brandies have a percurrent axis distichously and
pinnately branched from base to apex with all laterals about the same
length.

DESCRIPTION: Thallus forming an expanded layer of irregular shape
with lobed margins, 6-15 mm. thick, firm, spongy, dark green and closely
adherent to the substratum.
