  • Description

    Serrulate 1/2 down or more. Border recurved below. Costa slightly toothed on back near apex. Cells all elongate, gradually wider toward base. Stems radiculate below. No paraphyllia.; "Seems to be an undescribed species of Lescuraea."; "Not a Lescurae" - Elva Lawton, 12 Jan. 1955.; New species with thin-walled cells very wide below. Looks somewhat like Lescuraea substriata... Lescuraea has elongate cells with unevenly thickened walls. Phenology of specimen: Sporangia.
