Habitat
South-facing steep slopes, on rocky exposed shrubby portion of knife-edge ridge above tree zone.

Description
Shrub 5-6 feet tall; leaves erect, firmly membranaceous, deep green above, pale green below; keel dull lavender below with greenish yellow above, rest of corolla violet. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
