With both plurilocular and unilocular sporangia; the latter, hitherto un-
described, are nearly spherical, .03-.04 mm. diameter, sessile or on a very
short cell. Growing on the Codium, in company with the present species,
are more or less of Ectocarpus simplex, Myrionema foecundum, Calothrix
aeruginea, Groniotrichum elegaus, etc.
