ISAAC HOLDEN.
This species resembles in habit both B. radians and B. pyramidal#. It
differs from the former in having the cystocarps situated in the outer half
of the verticil instead of in the inner; and in the same way from tire latter,
which has the cystocarps of varying size and variously situated.
