Habitat
Moist forested valleys in the afternoon fogbelt.

Description
Tree 15 m., with erratic branches; young twigs 4-angled. leaves opposite, at first brownish-scurfy; later dark green, nitid above, pale pubescent below; blade base with dark green glands. Calyx pale green, covered with brownish scurf. Flowers white, fragrant. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
