Coarse open mixed alluvium sloping 5°E. Mixed desert scrub with Atriplex, Psorothamnus, Chrysothamnus, Lycium, Gutierrezia, and Erioneuron. Frequent locally, not seen elsewhere.

Perennial herbs to 6 dm high, petals violet-pink. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
