“Frond 1-2 in. long, setaceous, dichotomously branched, axils acute; artic-
ulations cylindric, 6-12 times longer than broad , cystocarps urceolate,
axillary, crowned with geminate filaments.
Forming pale pink tufts attached to other algae growing on sides of tide
pools. Low tide.
