  • Habitat

    Anthropogentically disturbed site. Native vegetation (based on vegetation on the adjacent slopes ) was originally a pinyon-juniper woodland with some desert transition chaparral elements, namely: Pinus monophylla, Juniperus californica, Prunus ilicifolia, Grayia spinosa, Yucca whipplei caespitosa, Yucca brevifolia, Chrysotamnus nauseosus, Purshia tridentata glandulosa, Krasheninnikova lanata, etc. Locally common.

    Rounded, arborescent shrubs. Fruits glaucous, reddish brown under the bloom. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
