Tree 33.8 cm dbh, 25 m tall. Bole compressed. ,
Not buttressed. Outer bark hooped, shallow,
irregularly fissured, very hard, deep yellow
brown. Inner bark very hard, gritty, mottled
brownish orange. Sapwood pale yellow. Slash
