Sun-semishade: Dry garnitic rocks and gravel, northeast slopes and base of small hill. Lower Sonoran: Larrea, Sphaeralcea ambigua. Common.

Description
Perennial 2 feet high, spread 2 feet. Corolla light reddish-magenta, almost evenly colored over the entire outside. Slightly viscid. Throat inside a pale creamy pink. Sterile filaments glabrous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
