Description
Annual herb. Stems erect, 30-80cm, spreading-pilose. Leaves oblong-lanceolate, pilose. Flowers large, showy in lax dichasia. Calyx tube exceeding petals, spreading-pilose, 10 strongly-ribbed, foliaceous teeth longer than calyx. Petals violet-red. Stamens 10. Styles 5. Capsule opening by 5 simple teeth. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
