Frond caespitose, scarcely half a decimeter in height, somewhat rigid, in
drying scarcely adhering to the paper; stem arising from a discoidal
base, soon sending out long main branches; branching monopodial.
irregular; branches 5-6 times branched; axils usually patent; ultimate
ramuli rather numerous, comparatively short and more or less sub-
ulate.
