Used Google Maps – Earth and Map Views to locate Baileys Harbor. Used the Google Maps – Measure Distance Tool to measure a straight line between the extents of the bay's north shore, then halved this distance to find the midpoint of the line. Chose a point on the shore nearest to the midpoint of the line. Used the Google Maps – What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic midpoint of the north shore of Baileys Harbor on the adjacent shore. Used the Google maps – Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent of the harbor shore by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the Harbor shore.
