Habitat
Very flat, sandy, subject to occasional flooding, thin forest and roadsides with many Solanaceae. Growing with no. 30488 S. americanum Mill. and distinct even though superficially similar.

Description
Erect herb with ascending branches. Corolla reflexed at anthesis, white with yellow-green star at base; anthers yellow; fruit green, immature, on reflexed pedicels. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
