This is a common form on the northern New England coast, but does
not seem to correspond exactly to any of the forms described by Kjellman ;
it might come under var. sphaerocarpus Farlow, 1. c., if that is extended to
include all forms with rounded, swollen receptacles, without regard to the
size of the latter.
