With plurilocular sporangia.
Closely related to E. Mitchellae Harv., but differing in the
usually clavate sporangia, and the cylindrical filaments with
rounded ends, not with terminal hairs. The identification of the
present specimens is from the description and plate referred to,
as no authentic specimens were accessible.
