Frond erect, much branched, somewhat globose, reddish (dark brown
when dry), 4-6 cm. high, 4-tubed (four large tubes surrounding a very
small central tube); articulations square in outline; cystocarps numer-
ous, ovate-globose, with short stalk.
Cast up on beach, probably epiphytic.
Waikiki, Oahu, Territory of Hawaii.
