Habitat
On southeast-facing slope. With Pinus, Penstemon and Populus. In rocky granitic soil.

Description
Plants perennial from highly ramified, slender-branched caudices; leaves of basal rosettes variably pubescent with mostly branched (some simple) trichomes; petals yellow; styles 0.5-0.9 mm long; pedicels sparsely villous; fruits ovoid, to 5 mm long, pubescent throughout with stellate and pectinately branched hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
