Frond membranaceous, reddish or brownish-purple in color, up to 2 cm. in
height, gregarious, rising abruptly from a filiform stalk .5 cm. long, el-
liptical or obovate, inflated.
On shaded sides of deep cracks and crevices on reef. At low tide.
Waianae, Oahu, Territory of Hawaii.
