Frond flat, lanceolate, mostly simple (occasionally bifid or trifid), atten-
uated to the base into a long slender stipe; margin (but not disc)
fringed with fusiform processes.
Attached to rocks and shells at low tide.
Rocky point opposite Tracyton, Kitsap county, Washington.

This plant is probably a young stage of the above species. The largest
specimen observed was 14 cm. in length and 1.5 cm. in width, with processes
2.5	cm. long. It bears some resemblance to G. teedii (Roth.) Lamour.
