Cleared newly planted agroforest w/ open canopy and a few scattered big trees. W/ Piper methysticum, Melastoma, Cyrtandra urvillei, Phaius amboinensis, Cyclosorus, Claoxylon?, tall ferns and grasses.

    Sprawling shrub, about 5 ft. tall. Adaxial leaf dk glossy green, margins w/ serrations slightly revolute, abaxial side med-green w/ raised yell-green veins. Inflo spike darker at junctions, green w/ even short white hairs.
