Area of ultimate trees which are scattered amongst
grasslands on boulder piles and at bases of cliffs.
Rocks are black metamorphics. Seasonally super - humid
and frequently foggy. Weinmannia, Gynoxys, Berberis,
Miconia woodlandsOn twigs and small branches of shrubs
along creek. Comman in soft, hanging cushions on
branchlets. Ca. 3750 m.
