Secondary forest, valley of small creek.

Description
Tree fern, c. 2.5 m tall, trunk 1.2 m tall. Fronds with c. 36 pairs of pinnae, papery, glossy dark green above. Fronds c. 2 m long, their rachis black at base. Spores pale brown.
