Rocky slopes and cliffs with evergreen wet forest of Elaeocarpus kusanoi, E. carolinensis, Adenanthera pavonia, Macaranga, Hibiscus tiliaceus, Antidesma, and occasional Atrocarpus altilis.

    Liana with twining stems, bark brown lenticellate. Leaves dark green with purple tinged veins when young. Flowers pale green with purplish brown spots.
