Description
Tree, 10-20 m tall, rarely to 40 m. Leaves obovate, entire, petioled an crowded at twig tips. Flowers in axillary racemes, unisexual, white or cream coloured, small (3-5 mm). Fruit is flattened and usually surrounded by a stiff flange; red when ripe. Leaves turn a brillant red before falling. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
