Description
Solitary palm; stem 6 m tall, 3-4 dm in diam., 20 contemporaneous leaves, sheath 3 dm, petiole 6 dm, rachis 30 dm with 158 pairs of pinnae grayish below, costa yellow. Inflorescence with a 6 dm long basal bract, a 18 dm long second bract, peduncle 4 dm long, rachis 9 dm long with ca 130 rachillas, fruit globosa, yellowish-green, finely setose. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
