Description
Solitary palm; stem columnar, 11 m tall, 28 cm in diameter, slightly increasing to about 30 cm at 8 m, only a very few persistent leaf-bases present; 71 contemporaneous living leaves, shath 9 dm long, petiole 1 dm long, rachis 28 cm ling with 157 pairs of pinnae inserted at various angles; 3 fruiting inflorescences on this tree, basal bract 7 dm long, second bract 14 dm longl rachis 6 dm long with 137 rachillae. Fruit yellowish-green, brown setulose. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
