(and probably larger) in diameter, venation indistinct but separating the mesh into areas, branching opposite or rarely appearing stellate, attached (?) by lower margin or surface (?), rhizoidal filaments frequent toward the base; primary (coarser) Microdictyon Okamurai Setchell — \ 30 The range of this species is extended to the Taumotu or Low Islands, having been collected atMakemo (between long. 145° and 150° W Greenwich, about 3000 miles from Lifue) by the members of the United States Fish Commission Setchell: Notes on Microdictyon. Ill 131 steamer “Albatross” on October 21, 1899, the specimen kindly communicated by Dr. William Randolph Taylor. This extension gives M.
