oospores globose or globose-ellipsoid, nearly filling oogonia; male plant
a little more slender than female; antheridial cells 1—3 in a series,
alternating with the vegetative cells; vegetative cells of female plant
40 mik. in diameter, 1. 25—3 times as long; vegetative cells of male plant
