The vegetative cells of the female plant in this material
are about .002 mm. larger than in the European form, and
somewhat shorter; the vegetative cells of the male plant, not
before known in the typical form, are .023-.025 mm. diam.,

2-3 diam. long; antheridial cell .022-.024 mm. diam., .005-.007
mm. long.
