Description
Tree, height 5m, dbh 7cm. Adventitious roots formed thicket with those of neighbouring Deipw trees. Cut roots ooze viscous, slimy, orange sap that has no scent. No orange sap seen when trunk cut. Roots have spines c. 1.5mm long. On larger roots, spines are arranged in vertical rows. Leaves clustered at ends of branches and are inserted in anticlockwise spiral. Leaves 1m by 5cm and pleated longitudinally to give an 'M' in transverse section.
