Thallus very small, soft, scarcely 2 mm. wide; branches and branchlets
dichotomous, radiately expanded, graceful; ultimate articulations sub-
ulate; cells in lower portion of filaments 7-12 mic. in diameter, 1.5-3
times longer than broad.
On bits of rock and pebbles at edge of lake.
