Thallus globular, the side of mustard seed to nearly that of a pea, jelly-like, not containing carbonate; filaments somewhat dichotomously branched, forming lax, rather flaccid fascicles; primary filaments averaging 12 mik. in width, with cells 1-3 times longer than broad; terminal cells of branches prolonged into very long bristles.
