Description
Pileus 2-4 cm broad, convex with a low obscure umbo in some, dry, obscure fine brown squamules on disc, appressed fibrillose toward margin, deep yellow (4A8,7), with incurved margin. Flesh dull yellow, unchanging with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, close, light yellow (4B5), with fimbriate, slightly darker edges. Stipe 2-4 cm long, 5-10 mm broad, equal, strict or curved, dry, finely subpubescent above, silky to fibrillose below, with interior brownish yellow, becoming hollow, unchanging.
