florets all yellow; with Stevia, Seran-
iuffi, Pinus discolor (area doainant),
bracken fern and Delphinius andesicola
(understory dominant); elev. 8200 ft.
Plants shrubby, 1.5 to 2 ® tail and
broad with up to 20 uprights per caudex,
very cowan also on the unshaded talus
slope
