KIAMATH CO. Rocky soil with Artemisia arbuscula and
scattered juniper, just north of the Sprague River, h
miles east of Bly. Twp, 37 S., R. 1£ E. Elevation
about h^OO feet. Heads yellow. Most plants apparently
rayless, but one plant had evident, short, narrow, dull
white (i) rays.
