Alt.: 2220m/7280ft.

W-E running stream cutting through alluvium of mixed volcanic
and granitic origin, with granitic outcrops above. Pinus jejfryi
woodland with understory of Artemisia tridentata, Purshia
tridentata, Ribes, Salix, Car ex, Juncus.

Occasional subshrub on open sandy areas above stream. To 4dm high, lax stems,
rays 1-2.
