Municipio de Loreto: "Ilha de Balsas” region, between
the Balsas & Pamafba Rivers. About 4.0 km south of
LORETO. Ca. 7«26'S. 4527*W. At place called "Picada",
100 S of creek, ”Riacho da Picada”, alt. ca. 250 m.
In gully of small tributary brook (now dry) called ”Vao
de Estribsria" cut into bsse of gently-sloped plateau
side, where it joins outer edge of creek plain. The
gully is lined with a narrow low-tree galley forest.
This no? mushroom 8 mm tall, cap 4 mm diam., stipe
0.4 mm diam. All parts chalky white. 25 March 1962
