Wisconsin: Richland Co., 3 miles SE of Richland Center. Flat
agricultural fields planted to Medicago sativa.

T 10 N; R 1 E; NW%NE!/4 sect. 35.

Two plants in a 10-acre hayfleld of 1st year Medicago sativa after
Zea mays the year before. With Raphanus raphanistrum, Capsella
bursa-pastoris, but mostly Medicago sativa. Also one seen in a
soybean field nearby. This is the first time noticed as a crop weed
on this farm in 40 years of observations. A previous collection
from crushed limestone gravel of parking lot (Nee 50133, 16 June
1999) was about 'A mile to the NW.
