HYBRID HAWKSBEARD. Taprooted perennials to 4 dm high
with yellow ligules.

2.0 miles S 45° W of Blanco Mountain summit at head of
Wyman Creek, Deep Springs Valley drainage, T6S R34E S12.
Coarse disturbed colluvium sloping 5° E, subalpine sage-
brush scrub with Artemisia, Lupinus, Arenaria, Erigeron.
Castilleja, Leptodactylon and Linanthastrum. Frequent
in higher rocky areas.
