Description
Pileus 5-8 cm broad, plano-uplifted to depressed, moist, finely turf-like on disc, areolate toward margin pectinate-ridged at margin, with shades of very pale pinkish gray, pale dirty yellow tones, often with some pale dirty greenish toward margin. Flesh white, unchanging with mild odor, mild taste. Lamellae barely adnexed, white to a very pale buff, close, without lamellulae. Stipe 3-6 cm long, 1-2 cm broad, equal, dry, white, unchanging when bruised, finely matted white with very subtle, irregular ridging, sometimes developing orangish yellow tints near base., with interior not becoming hollow.
