On gravelly flats. With Carnegiea gigantea, etc. Common on gravelly flats with Carnegiea gigantea, etc. Seen only at this locality between Sasabe and Altar.

Depauperate on account of drought. Paler rose than about Tucson. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
