1-5. 1871.

No. 8334, collected May 25, in the extreme southern part
of Mono county in gravel on the rising plain not far from the
Southern Belle mine. Also noticed in Silver canyon about four
miles further south, but not common. The type was collected
on “foothills of Western Nevada, 5,000-5,500 feet elevation.”
