The New York Botanical Garden copyright reserved Examined for NORTH AMERICAN FLORA Chaenactis macrantha Wats. Bot. King Rep. 171. pi. 28. f. 1-5. 1871. No. 8334, collected May 25, in the extreme southern part of Mono county in gravel on the rising plain not far from the Southern Belle mine. Also noticed in Silver canyon about four miles further south, but not common.
